Ministry to Crescent City, CA

William and Roberta Hayes spent the month of March 2013, living in the Battery Point Lighthouse in Crescent City as lighthouse keepers (we were invited back again March 2016!).  During their stay there, God asked William to meet with leaders from several churches to bring them together for a sunrise Easter service (March 31st) at the lighthouse.  The couple met with various church members from: Four Square, Methodist, Catholic, Episcopal, Cornerstone, Bread of Life Mission, and Pelican Bay, then start a weekly prayer meeting at the lighthouse.  Posters were hung up all over town and in the newspaper, inviting the public to the service.  William preached a few times at the Bread of Life Mission.  Then on Good Friday, William walked the cross through the town then up to the lighthouse while a band of believers followed while singing and praising God.   Easter Sunday was rainy, but a wonderful group of dedicated believers filled the lighthouse grounds:  a choir from the Methodist church were there to sing, believers from all the above churches attended, and William preached.

As I met with many pastors, the Spirit of God would create many divine appointments.  In one case a pastor from Eureka, California had came up that morning to pray for Crescent City.  So when I walked in there he was praying at the alter.  After we began to talk we both knew that God had set us together.  The presence of Almighty God was so strong we both began to weep and hug one another.  Things like that happened several times.  After the service was over God gave me many prophetic words to the people in the crowd as I began to minister to them individually.  There were people from every walk of life there.  From the homeless to the well to do.  When the Holy Spirit moves it is hard to see all that He is doing.  But in one case a lady, said she saw angels come into the room with me, as I came to one of the churches to tell them of the event.  The night before the service, I was waken by the Spirit to pray.  After that I went outside to spend a little quite time just to see the ocean, about 4 am.  But when I stepped outside the air felt so strange.  It was very warm, and there was no wind.  And God's presence felt so strong, it felt like I was in a vacuum.  The sky was so light up it seemed like early morning.  But there was no moon and it was too early for sunrise, (7:00 am).  Before I long, the Lord began to speak to me.  He said, " I am coming soon and I am preparing my bride.  I desire for my people to become one and love each other as I have loved them.  Tell them William and don't be afraid, for I am with you always.  Speak with boldness and courage, for I have placed my words in your mouth.  Tell them time is short and I am even now pouring out my Spirit on the earth in such a way the world has never seen.  The hour has come for me do mighty deeds the world has never seen amongst my people.  I will use the humble, the weak, and those who believe my words and act upon them, to perform them.  I am going to do a new thing, the world has never experienced."  He spoke many more things to me.  But no sooner had He stopped speaking when it began to rain, and the wind began to pickup and the weather went to it's normal self. This lasted about 15 minutes.  The air was so warm at the time.  It was as if God had put his arms around the island and shut it all down, just to talk with me.  There are so many stories to tell, that I don't have the time.  But I think what God said that night says it all!  " I am coming soon!"  Be blessed real good!  William
